Wallet, Wait! (“we”, “us”) is a web app at walletwait.online, operated by Zero AI Labs. It helps people avoid impulse purchases: you post something you're tempted to buy, and friends or other users vote on whether you should buy it or put it back. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information. You can use the app without signing up. The first time you vote, post or join a crew we create an anonymous account identified only by a random ID, and give you a random display name (such as “rational spender #1234”) that you can change.
Information from Google. If you choose “Continue with Google”, we ask Google only for the basic sign-in scopes (openid, email and profile). Google then shares with us your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture URL. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar or any other Google service.
Content you create. Purchase requests (item name, price and currency, your reasons, alternatives you considered, and up to three photos), your votes, written takes, stickers, comments and likes, crews you create or join, words you choose to mute, people you block, reports you file, and feedback you send us.
Technical and usage information. Session cookies that keep you signed in; your approximate country, derived from your IP address by our hosting provider, used to show plaza requests in your currency; standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time); and anonymous page-load performance measurements (Vercel Speed Insights), which do not use cookies or identify you. Your browser's local storage also remembers small preferences, such as dismissed tips, on your device only.
We do not collect payment information, precise location, or your purchase history from any store.
2. How we use information
- To provide the app: create your account, show your requests to your crew or the plaza, count votes, decide results and calculate how much you saved.
- To let you sign in with Google and keep your account and history across devices.
- To show your display name to your crew and to show plaza requests from your market.
- To keep the service safe: enforce posting limits, filter muted words, act on reports, and prevent spam and abuse.
- To fix bugs, measure performance and improve the app.
- To reply when you contact us.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not use it for advertising or ad targeting, and we do not use it to train AI models.
3. Google user data
We use the information received from Google only to sign you in, link your Google account to your Wallet, Wait! account and let you recognize which account you used. Your email address and profile picture are never shown to other users. We do not transfer Google user data to anyone except the service providers below that are needed to run the app, as required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Who can see what
- Requests sent to the plaza are public. They are shown as from “a stranger”, without your display name.
- Requests sent to a crew are visible to that crew's members and to anyone you share the link with. Crew members see your display name.
- Individual votes are not tied to your name for other users; others see the totals and the takes and comments people choose to write.
- Photos you upload are viewable by anyone who has the request link.
5. Service providers
We share information only with providers that run the app for us, under contracts that limit their use to providing their service:
- Supabase: database, account sign-in and photo storage (servers in the United States).
- Vercel: website hosting, server logs, country detection and performance measurement.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose to use it.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
6. Cookies
We use only cookies that are needed for the app to work, mainly to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account exists. Server logs kept by our hosting providers are deleted automatically, normally within 30 days. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, requests, photos, votes, takes and comments within 30 days, except where we must keep something to comply with the law or resolve a safety report.
8. Your choices and rights
- Change your display name and muted words any time on the Me page.
- Disconnect Google at any time from your Google Account's third-party access settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it, by emailing info@zeroinnovavi.com from the address you signed in with, or telling us your display name if you never signed in.
Depending on where you live (for example California, Canada, the UK or the EU), you may have further rights under local law. We honor these requests for all users and will not treat you differently for making one.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our providers, and database access rules limit each user to the data they are allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you.
10. Children
Wallet, Wait! is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
